Kiki has been in the lab since 1995. Previously she worked with Helen Hobbs at UT-Southwestern. There, Kathy sequenced many new alleles of the LDL receptor that were collected by Nobel Laureates Mike Brown and Joe Goldstein. She does a phenomenal job of managing our mouse colony and doing most of the in vivo phenotyping of the mice in our genetic screens. She loves to help everyone else in the lab. She is also an avid rock music fan and hosts concerts in her own home.
